As we look forward to the next cycle of student recruitment, we are delighted to announce two new partnerships with prominent institutions in Ireland.

Maynooth University and National University of Ireland (NUI), Galway, have joined forces with IDP Connect’s connected community, thereby creating even stronger pathways for international students to study in Ireland.

Ed Kelly, Head of International Client Partnerships at IDP Connect, commented on the new partnerships: “Our approach to counselling students remains student-first. We counsel students entirely on their preferences and goals and our counsellors are unaware of any specific commercial arrangements. With Maynooth and NUI Galway becoming IDP partners, it gives our counsellors two more high-quality Irish institutions to share with our students. Since launching the Ireland destination counselling in 2018, we’ve seen that Ireland as a destination is popular with our students – it’s clear to our students that Ireland offers high-quality education and a rich study experience.”

With these latest additions, we now have a total of 12 Irish clients working with us. We’re able to offer even more options to our counsellors and students by showcasing an ever-expanding range of fantastic higher education opportunities available in Ireland to prospective students around the world.

Commenting on the new partnership, NUI Galway’s International Marketing Manager Adrian Larkin said: “One of the core guiding values at NUI Galway is openness. We welcome students from across the globe every year and are extremely excited to work with IDP in the coming years to increase our global reach and bring increased diversity to our student body.”

Pauline Di Girolamo, International Officer at Maynooth University International Office, added: “In the Maynooth University International Office we are expanding our recruitment activities, seeking to have a broader and more diverse international student body on campus. We have been attracted by the global presence of IDP and their expertise and knowledge of different markets. We want to enhance the visibility of our institution. The broad in-country presence offered by IDP, as well as their extended digital platforms, perfectly match our needs. We look forward to further developing our collaboration with IDP ahead of the next recruitment cycle.”
